Yesterday, it is announced that, in 2012, all science and mathematic subjects will be taught in Malay...
So it is better to use Malay language as the medium of instruction for science and maths in schools.
Am I agree with that?
To me, No..
Why??

• The terminology in English can be acceptedd worldwide.
  
• The statistic they're talking about need more time to measure our real capibility on using English as a medium. A person needs years to able to process a language easily. In this case, we need to keep teaching Maths and Sciences in English for at least a couple of generations, not for only 5-6 years.
• If maths and science is switched to Malay, a student who gone overseas will have the problems in catching up with other students from another country and need to learn back all the concepts in maths and science all over again.
• It is said it is for Malaysian's future. How? Is it for determine the ranking while abandoning the educations? Forget the ranking. What matters is how will the students face the world using what all they have in science and mathematics.

So that is my opinion..How's yours?
